Ahmed Al-Prince, a simple employee, has a love affair with one of his colleagues, and they agree to marry, but he is met with great financial troubles, trying to work in more than one job to earn him an income, including the bag trade, smuggling clothes from Port Said and not succeeding. He asks for help from his wealthy aunt (peer) and disagrees. He believes that his legacy from Nazira after her death is the perfect solution to all his problems, and he plans to do so.
